When I got divorced, I said never again," Nicole Murphy told PEOPLE at a Feb. 16 south Florida fundraiser for the John T. Petters Foundation, a charity that provides scholarships for students to travel abroad. "But some time has passed since Eddie and I split, and I know now what I want in a man: communication and shared interests. Michael and talk about everything, and we both love to travel, explore and laugh."
Murphy was married for about two decades, and while she admits they disagreed on many issues, she still considers her ex-husband to be a good man.
"Eddie is a wonderful person and a good father," she continues. "But we obviously had problems in the marriage. I tell my friends that opposites may attract but that kind of early excitement doesn't last. Find someone who shares your passions and interests."
After dating for nearly 10 months, Murphy and Strahan, who were all over each other at the three-day event – and slept so late on Saturday that they missed an afternoon polo match in Wellington – definitely have shared passions.
"We are going to Africa next month," she says. "We love to see new things and always have a great time together." [source]

Both Keyshia and Jeezy denied any knowledge of the other woman who claims to be Jeezy’s longtime girlfriend. “Me and Jay spend everyday together except when we’re on the road,” said Keyshia.
Jeezy denied saying he and Keyshia were not together anymore. “We’re not tripping,” said Jeezy, “but when we hear things like that, it’s just crazy. Why would I have a conversation about anything personal with a random person in the club?”
Keyshia added, “I would like for you to let [your readers] know that that was false information. That was never said. We are keeping our business our business. It is what it is. When we’re seen they know what it is. At the end of the day, we’re just focused on our careers right now but at the same time, I’m not saying I’m not with him and he’s not saying he’s not with me. So he didn’t say that.”

This is all a way of getting at the fact that Kimora was not looking for a relationship when she ran into the West African-born fashion model turned Oscar-nominated actor turned Calvin Klein model Djimon Hounsou in L.A. last February. He had just been nominated for his role as an enslaved African fisherman in Blood Diamond.
"When you're not looking, that's when it happens," Kimora says with such authority that, though many people have said so before, it seems true only when it comes out of her mouth. "And I have a lot of hang-ups in life with men. I'm not very trusting," she says enigmatically. "Rightfully so. Read between the lines."
So Kimora gave Djimon her number. "I'm very good at exchanging numbers with people for business, and that's what I did," Kimora recalls. "He said, 'Are you really going to use that number, or are you going to use it for business?' That made me think, Oh." Her eyes dance.
A few days later, Djimon texted her; she called him immediately. "I'm so over that new thing of talking to everyone on the pager," Kimora says. "I'm much more into old-world, intimate conversations on the phone. I like to write letters."

“It was beautiful and private,” the R&B singer, 28, tells Us Weekly. “We didn’t have a first dance – but we had a lovely, intimate dinner filled with candlelight and flowers.”
The couple’s plans for the future are simple: to have a larger wedding ceremony (“sometime later in the year, or after the baby is born,” Usher says) and to “prepare for the birth of our first child.”

After suddenly canceling his wedding to Tameka Foster last week, Usher and the stylist were married on Friday in Atlanta, according to reports in People magazine and the Chicago Sun-Times.
The couple, who are expecting their first child together, were married in a simple ceremony held in the office of Usher's lawyer, according to the Sun-Times — a far cry from the lavish event planned for last weekend at the Long Island, New York, home of Island Def Jam head L.A. Reid (see "Usher And Fiancee Tameka Foster Cancel Wedding").
Rumors about possible causes for the wedding's cancellation — ranging from the disapproval of Usher's mother to disagreements over the prenuptial agreement — were rife last week, leading Foster to make several guarded comments to People (see "Usher's Fiancee Says Rumors About Canceled Wedding Are 'Completely Untrue' "). Foster dismissed those rumors, but did confirm that she had a pregnancy "scare." "I was pushing myself way too hard," the five-months pregnant Foster, 37, told the magazine. "But I am fine and the baby is fine." (source)

In a statement the singer and his fiancee Tameka Foster issued to The Associated Press on Wednesday (June 27), the couple said: "We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together. We hope people will be happy for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives." The baby, which is due in the fall, will be the fourth child for recently divorced stylist Foster.
