Gosh I Hope Not

Word on the curb is that Re-Up Rowland make pose for the pages of Playboy sometime in the near future. I hope this is just another net rumor, because if its fact then I really give up on Kizzy. There has got to be a clause somewhere in her contract with the wig crypt that specifically says that she can't do shit like this. Didn't Farrah get kicked out of Destiny's Child for posing for some pimp's book cover or something? She better keep it quiet before Papa Joe 2.0 can stop her.

Solange Will Make Your Dreams Come True

Wanna work in the new pimped out dungeon of the wig crypt? Well here's your chance!

I was checking in with my splendiferous love muffin Love B. Scott when I peeped his post about Solange holding auditions for singers, bands and individual band members to become members of her band, Hadley Street Dreams.

You know Baby Daniel is going to be down there in a tight black t-shirt like Simon Cowell to help his Mama weed out the haves and the have-nots. If you plan on getting down with Solo it is a must that you know how to shake your money maker. 'Cause nobody has the time to give you private lessons on shaking your chico stick, thanks.

WHEN: Thursday, March 6, 2008 from 12:00PM thru 6:00PM. Audition sign up will end promptly at 3:00PM.

WHERE: SIR Studios

I think I may have watched this about 13 times this morning over at A Hot Mess before I finally decided to give it a rest. Be sure to get your laugh on now before Papa Joe 2.0 tries to get it removed or some shit.

Wait! Turn Yo' Wig Around!

I see someone has been playing in the Wendy Williams scrap pile deep inside the wig crypt over the weekend. I'm sure stans will argue that their queen can do no wrong when it comes to her coif but I am going to have to disagree with them this time. I vote no. Are you feeling Bust it Creole's new look?

Arriving @ the 08 Brit Awards

I don't see why Kizzy Rowland hasn't pulled an Amerie and stayed her ass across the pond in London. Our brothers and sisters in the UK seem to have an appreciation for her . . . musical talents that us red-blooded Americans just don't. Why work like a dog in the wig crypt when you can be the Vesta Williams of Liverpool? I will never understand. Maybe she will wise up and take Solange with her.

One Weekend Getaway At The Wig Crypt Coming Right Up

Ladies, drama, leave it home. Does anybody [besides Michelle Williams] listen to Kizzy when she drops science? I guess not.

Here is what Papa Joe 2.0 had to say about Aretha's comments.

"As a manager I am not taking something this ridiculous to Beyonce. Beyonce referred to Tina Turner as a 'queen,'" he told CelebTV.com. "Not queen of gospel, queen of soul, queen of blues, Queen of England. I consider my wife a queen and sometimes call her that. Does Aretha have a problem with that?" [source]

The Wig Crypt Has A Blog?!

I love it, I fucking love it. I don't know who is the mastermind behind this url but I spent a good amount of my afternoon snickering at the entries. My favorite would have to be the post showcasing the new phones from today's R&B chanteuses. I'm just a little vexed that they didn't include a Cassie cell though.

What?! How?!

It's official, my favorite Knowles is set to appear as a presenter at the 50th Annual Grammy's.

What a living testimony. Through Christ all things are truly possible.

The last time Solo was relevant in the music world she was walking around the woods with Omarion in the video for "Ice Box."

She better make sure she works in a plug for Baby Jamz during her time at the podium or she's going to feel Baby Daniel's reign of terror when she gets back to the wig crypt.

But I'm not hating, girl get your free swag bag! I just hope they aren't filled with any House of Deadwrong sneakers.

Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, George Lopez, Lyle Lovett, and Ludacris have been added to the presenter lineup.

Previously announced performers include Beyoncé; Feist; Foo Fighters [with special guest conductor John Paul Jones]; Alicia Keys; Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood; 2008 MusiCares Person of the Year Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, the Clark Sisters, Israel And New Breed, and Trin-I-Tee 5:7 in a special gospel segment; the casts of "The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil" and Across The Universe in a special Beatles segment; and Rihanna with a reunited the Time in a special 50th anniversary segment.

You Sent It // Carry Dem Hoes On Her Back, Yes She Did

Fresh, girl, use this as you may.

January 31, 2008 -- When Kelly Rowland can't hit a high note, she calls in the big guns. The former Destiny's Child member recently recorded a song in New York with Gym Class Heroes front man Travis McCoy, but struggled to hit one high note. So she called up her best pal Beyoncé, who showed up within the hour with six armed bodyguards in tow. She gave Rowland tips and coached her until she got it. [source]
I found the perfect shot to go along with this mess. Caption this:

This heffa carries KizzyRo on her back like a camel carries bundles of RocaWear sweaters across the desert, I swear! Why in the hell tell anybody this went down, Kelendria? I'm sorry, but if you can't hit high notes without YOUR SISTER SHOWING UP TO COACH YOU THROUGH IT LIKE CHILDBIRTH, why the fuck are you trying to be a solo artist? REALLY?

XOXO and all dat junk. Girl, where LaMike at? Can't he get into the parties no mo'? No new hoodie shots or anything, damn.

Loves ya!

Star Tracks: Kelly Rowland

Our girl Kizzy is still across the pond in London, appearing at the the Instyle Best Beauty Buys Awards on Tuesday. No hate here today! As you can clearly see, taking a vacay from the wig crypt does a girl wonders. Baby Daniel may be pulling a double shift for the remainder of the week but hey, that's the breaks. In related news, Sam from That Grape Juice conducted a great interview with Ms. Kelly.

Kelly Rowland @ G-A-Y in London

Has it really come to this? It's not even funny any more. Papa Knowles is going to have her singing the national anthem at pee wee league football games in no time. I blame the stans. Instead of going out and buying cd's and concert tickets they would rather sit around and defend their queen in my comment section. Tsk tsk, get on your job folks.

Blame Papa Knowles

There is no rhyme or reason for Verdine White's presence in this entry. It just felt like the right thing to do. Now on with it.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Beyonce may run into static from her industry peers if she goes through with plans to cross a potential picket line to perform at the Grammy's.

"Hours after her dad promised she'd be at the Feb. 10 event, people were ready to call the R&B superstar a scab," columnists Rush & Malloy wrote for Monday's paper.

"Beyoncé was not aware her name was going to be used," one insider told the column regarding the announcement last week from Mathew Knowles that his daughter was planning an "incredible performance" for the telecast.

"Beyoncé, as well as my other artists Solange and Trinitee 5:7, have been asked to participate and will do so," Papa Knowles said in the statement. [source]

I'm not going to mess with Trinitee 5:7 today, I'm not trying to block my blessings, amen. But Solange?! The hell she is going to do at the Grammy's besides valet cars and pass out fans with Malcolm X holding his heat on the front? Joking, ya'll know I love Solo, but the question still remains. WTF?

I feel for Beyaki on this one though. I can't stand when my family volunteer me for shit and then tell me about it at the last minute.

"Blissfully Unaware" Is Right

Don't expect to see the Versace men's collection in Bergdorf Goodman this year. On Saturday night, Tommy Fazio, the men's fashion director for the luxury store, showed up to the Versace men's show in Milan and took his usual front-row seat, and all was well until the late arrival of Beyoncé and Jay-Z. According to our insider, the standing-room-only event was pushed even later when Beyoncé's hulking bodyguard didn't have a seat.

Our shocked spy said, "A minion, who obviously had no idea who Tommy was, told him to get up so the guard could sit down." Fazio wasn't pleased and said, "Fine - I don't stand at shows, so please escort me to the door." Afterward, Fazio canceled his post-show appointment with the fashion house. Onlookers were shocked, but Beyoncé was blissfully unaware as she went from the show to the GQ party that followed, where she sat in a corner with Jay-Z and "read the magazine before leaving after 15 minutes." A rep for Versace said, "Obviously there was some confusion with the show, but it had nothing to do with Beyoncé or her bodyguard. It happens occasionally at shows." [source]

I blame Kizzy Rowland's third wheel ass. She took that 'Seat Filler' movie literally and thought that she could post up in the front row, taking Big Beefy the Bodyguard's seat in the process. Her wig crypt employee discount card is soooo revoked, my dude.

Visit Corner of Beyonce to check out flicks from the show and afterparty.

Working Overtime In The Wig Crypt Will Do That To You

That picture always cracks me up.

I just love it when tidbits about Kizzy Rowland surface from out of nowhere. I'm like a moth to a flame! It's my civic duty to keep her relevant or die trying.

Ms. Kelly is blaming her onstage collapse in Africa last summer on jet-lag and late night phone calls home.

She says: "I was exhausted. Not only that, but the time difference threw me off and I was jet-lagged. I stayed up all night talking on the phone and didn't eat as well." [source]

Oh Kelly.

I Guess She Told Ya'll

I love it when "celebrities" break it down for us on their online journals. I hope Lil' Boosie starts one up this year. I know he has a lot of important shit to say.

this year feels very monumental for me, so maybe i get the point.
there a few things i want to achieve this new years myself. use my middle finger alot more. i always think what person did that gesture and made it so famous for saying “f*ck you”! why wasnt it a pinky or a thumb? lol but scince it does mean those clever two words i want to do it alot more. its neccesary to be happy in life. if you think about some of the most great and succesfull people and artist….. prince, oprah, bill gates, basquiat, andy warhol, murakami, michael jackson, kayne west, oh this list could go on forever…. they all had to say it once or twice in their lifetime. people are always gonna try and tear u down for your individuality, your creative drive, you personal choices and all the little things that make you you! people rag on me for everything, from my choices in shoes and lipstick color all the way up to my hair! but at the end of the day YOU have to be happy with YOU! so what if you have the urge to do things that cant be formulated or has four sides? black and white can be so boring without a touch of color!

Solange is okay but she doesn't hold a candle close to my girl Chudney. She is still one deep sister though! Damn, '08 is going to be her year. I can't wait to buy her new album out of Kizzy's trunk.

It's All Your Fault

Back to the wig crypt just in time for the holiday rush.

Kizzy Rowland's choir failed to strike the right note and was voted off 'Clash of the Choirs' last night."I'm so proud of my choir," she said, wiping away tears after losing the public vote to crooner Michael Bolton.

I feel bad for Kelly, honestly I do. But I can't stop giggling at 'Biggest Loser next' in the corner of the screen cap. YOU DID THIS TO HER!
