Buzz Notes Quickie- Not everything 50 Cent touches turns to gold. His artist Olivia's single "So Sexy" is doing well on the charts. But Interscope execs fear chart success will not translate to sales for the First Lady's debut album "Behind Closed Doors". Now word is Olivia's album release date has been pushed back until next year. Execs are nervous that the album will flop and that would not make Fif happy.
- The first annual Black Movie Awards took place on Sunday night, the event was produced by Suzanne DePasse and will appear on the TNT network later this month. It was an classy and elegant event with the exception of Bobby Brown. Everyone was dressed in formal wear, the men wore tuxedo's and the women wore designer gowns. Bobby Brown wore a shirt that looked like it was purchased at the 99 cent store with wrinkled slacks and worn shoes. Brown should hire a stylist and a dentist ASAP. They need to just shut up, just shut up, shut up . . .
- Be sure to catch the poor man's Apprentice tonight on BET. Also don't forget that the debut episode of Run's House debuts this Thursday after Making The Bed 87. I'm looking forward to see how The Rev. runs his household. His kids seem to be some very bright characters while his wife talks like Macy Gray on those commercials.
