Just Break Up Already, Shit!
A few months ago on "Jimmy Kimmel Live", DC3 claimed that would be their last televised performance and nobody really gave a shit. The girls have now been invited to perform live at the NBA All Star game this year, singing the national anthem before tip-off. The NBA is billing the performace at the game as the final time the group will perform together, yeah right. Quick, can a lawyer please draw up some paperwork that legal binds them to that?
As you can see, Mama Tina and Beyonce are currently gracing the cover of Life magazine for a feature titled "I Raised A Rock Star." That bitch stole my usher uniform for church to take that picture! *shakes fist* Here's an excerpt from the article:
Beyonce: "We can drive each other crazy, but when that happens, it's time for her to go home! The only thing we argue about is clothes [they have a clothing line together, House of Dereon]. But we can't stay mad for long. If I say something crazy to her or she says something crazy to me and we hang up mad, a minute later one of us is calling to apologize."
Tina: "I've taught her that your family comes first. When you go home, you don't have all the glamour. You just have to live with yourself . . . I hope Beyonce can slow down so she can give me some grandchildren! Beyonce needs to have a baby now!"
Beyonce: "Has she mentioned that she wants grandchildren?"
R.Kelly Hits The Road On New Tour
He's known as the R., a.k.a. Kells, a.k.a. the Pied Piper, a.k.a. the King of R&B, and R. Kelly needs more aliases. He's feeding the public one more at least: Mr. Show Biz. On Friday (February 3) Kelly announced plans for what he's calling his Light It Up Tour, which he's headlining as "Mr. Show Biz."
As to what adopting the nickname Mr. Show Biz means, his label reps said they weren't sure. Kelly hasn't told them yet. He also hasn't announced whether or not he'll have any opening acts. The only thing the singer is disclosing is the itinerary -- whose string of small-venue gigs makes this his first theater tour since 2001 -- and the fact that he'll have a live band with him.
