Vivica Talks About Gossip Blogs, Plastic Surgery (sort of), and Upcoming Projects
Like many of you, I peeped the interview Aunt Viv gave to BET.com after reading it on CL.
BET.com: There are a lot of photos of you and other Black celebs on the recent crop of Black gossip blogs. Are you aware of any comments about the way you look and if so, how do you feel about it?
VF: I could care less. People are going to say what they want to say. I'm in the entertainment business, and they may prefer to be mean and cruel, but they're entitled to their opinions. It's life in a fishbowl. They love to build you up and break you down. It's better to brush it off your shoulder. People like you or they don't, but it does make you sad that your own people can be so negative. I'd love to follow them around all day and see what they look like on a 24-hour basis.
BET.com: You've been quoted in the past as saying that you're OK with plastic surgery.
VF: Is this interview about plastic surgery? I don't care. If we could skip over that, I would so appreciate it. I have said before that if plastic surgery is something that people want to go do, then do it. End of plastic surgery. (continue reading)
Yes, we tend to go real hard on celebs, especially when it has to do with plastic surgery. I can't speak for everybody but I still don't understand why she would mess with anything on her face in the first place. She was beautiful! Now she is beginning to look normal again because that shit is finally settling in to place but I don't think it was necessary in the first place.
On another subject, who in the hell approved this shit? I mean really.
