03.24.2006 Buzz Notes

While his three-point shooting has been erratic this season, Knicks guard Quentin Richardson has been able to score at will off the court. Richardson - most recently connected to multi-platinum R&B singer Brandy - was cheered on by video vixen Esther Baxter the other night at the Garden. Baxter, who graced the February cover of Smooth magazine and is in the current issue of Black Men, was on his arm as he left the locker room. (New York Post)

I know a lot of you may be thinking "Esther who?" but she is a pretty well known video chick. You may recognize her from Juelz Santana's "Oh Yes" video or her
Smooth magazine cover. All I know is she better not let Brandy hear about this shit. Brandy was at one of his games earlier this season looking like a damn stalker. Q seems like a nice dude but he comes off like he has the personality of a dried up booger. I'm just saying . . .

Fantasia Life Story Comes To The Small Screen

Fantasia's life story is coming to the small screen this summer via Lifetime Television. Yesterday in New York City, network honchos Betty Cohen and Susanne Daniels announced their first ever full season programming schedule, which includes the 'American Idol: Season Three' winner's telepic based on her best-selling autobiography 'Life Is Not A Fairytale.' The project has been described as "a Cinderella story about a teenage single mother who overcame sexual abuse, poverty and illiteracy by using her incredible voice to rise to national prominence." "Our viewers connect to Lifetime on a deep and emotional level," said Cohen. "We're becoming even more undeniably 'for women' by speaking to today's woman's innermost drive to find and define her own life story, with exciting new programming which will simultaneously provide both the highly emotional escape women want and the inspiration they need." (BlackVoices)

That's a good look for 'Tasia I think. I would much rather see her story than Shar Jackson's. Check out some recent pictures of Fantasia at a Lifetime event at Cake and Ice Cream.

I am not Clive Davis and to be frank I probably don't want to hear the shit anyway. You should also know that I take my slow, precious time responding to email. And sometimes I don't respond at all.
