Cheri Got A Gig!As the self-appointed president of the Cheri Dennis e-street team it is with tremendous pleasure that I announce that our queen performed at the Apple store in Soho last night.
I don't know why every time I see this child I think of her sitting in her dressing room [commonly referred to as a broom closet] crying like Jill Scott's character in 'Why Did I Get Married', talking about "I thought God had given up on me."
Cheri was later spotted at
the Bombay Sapphire and Giant Magazine party getting her exposure on with Lauren London and Cassie. Homegirl had that "yup, I'm big time now, hoe!" look written all across her face, I love it! The even better news is that there was someone in the building even more irrelevant than her. In the immortal words of Deborah Cox, how did you get here? Nobody's posed to be here!
